Last updated: 2026. This policy explains what I collect, why, and what you can ask me to do with it.

What I collect

When you contact me or subscribe to the newsletter, I collect your name, email, company name, and the message you send. If you visit the site, I collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (pages viewed, referrer, device class) to help me improve it. If you accept the visit-log prompt, I additionally keep a simple log of your IP address, approximate location, and the pages you view, plus your name if you choose to share it. Declining the prompt leaves only the anonymous counter, and your choice is remembered on your device.

Why I collect it

• To respond to your enquiry.
• To send you the newsletter you signed up for.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

What I don't do

I don't sell your data. I don't share it with anyone who isn't directly involved in delivering my work to you. I don't add you to marketing lists you didn't opt into.

Tools I use

For analytics and email delivery I use commonly used vendors (Vercel, Formspree, and an email service provider). Each one holds your data under their own privacy terms.

Your rights

You can ask me to delete your data, correct it, or send you a copy of what I hold. Email m@madanyco.com and I will action it within 30 days.
